The Old Training Grounds eventually became known as Fay Park. The Training Grounds are where the Revolutionary War soldiers drilled, and it was conveniently close to the Fox Tavern on Foster Street (on the left just out of the picture). The Now photograph was taken looking toward the Unitarian Church with Fay Park on the right. See Fay Park in the Littleton Center section of Then and Now.
