This house was across Route 2A from Rogers Street. The back of the property is where Castle in the Trees playground is currently located. The people on the porch have been identified as "Elizabeth Thacher and her father John Thacher." Before being burned and torn down by the Town, the building housed the Park and Recreation Department. Incidentally, the house was next to the old
Central Hall building
, across from the former library. This building, too, was burned and torn down by the Town despite being part of Littleton's history.
