The Ledges
Webbing Factory
Originally built as a hunting cabin, the Ledges was eventually inhabited by Dr. Dana Drury and his wife, town librarian and historian Margaret Thacher Drury. Built into the side of Oak Hill at 74 Harvard Road, and repeatedly altered and added on to, the house suffered from continuous water seepage and was eventually torn down in the early 1980s. In the Now photograph all that remains are the rock "ledges". It was Margaret Thacher Drury who added many notes to the Littleton Historical Society’s postcard collection. We are indebted to her foresight in having done so.
