SUMMARY:History Walk and Talk in Sarah Doublet Forest
DESCRIPTION:History Walk & Talk in Sarah Doublet Forest after the LCT 60th picnic on May 14!\n\n\nNashobah Praying Indian Strong Bear Medicine and Littleton historian Daniel V. Boudillion will be hosting a Walk & Talk on the history of the Nashobah Praying Indians\, as it pertains to the Sarah Doublet Forest\, an area sacred to Native Americans.\n\n\nWe will look at ceremonial stonework and agricultural indicators alike of the old Indian village of Nashobah. We will also tell the story of Indian princess Wunnuhhew (Sarah Doublet).\n\n\nLittleton was originally the Praying Indian Plantation of Nashobah. The Sarah Double Forest is the last preserved tract of the old Plantation.\n\n\nVisit littletonconservationtrust.org/events to register.
